Getting started as a gym

A gym or studio on Signa is one practice: seats for the coaches who programme, a shared roster, and billing that belongs to the facility.

What Signa is, for a facility

Signa is built for coaches first. A gym or studio uses the same platform, organised around the facility rather than around a pile of unrelated logins.

You hold seats for the coaches on staff. Each seat is a coach who programmes, reviews, and owns their athletes — under the gym’s account, not as a separate product. Athletes still train in the free app. The practice is what you run.

If you are considering Signa for a gym or studio, get access and tell us it is a facility, or refer the coaches you already work with.

Seats and staff

A seat is a paid place for one coach. Adding staff is adding seats; removing someone is freeing a seat. Coaches on staff share the facility’s athletes where you set that up, so a client is not trapped in one person’s login when the floor is covered by two.

Branding follows the facility. Athletes should see the gym they walk into, not a generic desk.

Billing

Facility billing sits at the gym, not on each coach’s personal card. You pay for the seats you hold. Individual coaches are not invoiced on the side for the same practice.

Founding-member pricing and the current seat model live on the coaches page. A gym is a different conversation about volume — write to us when you get access so the account is opened as a facility.

One roster, several coaches

The point of running Signa as a gym is a single practice view: who is on the floor, who checked in, which coach owns the plan. Coverage does not mean a second spreadsheet.

Programming still happens in Plan Studio, per athlete. The gym layer is who may edit, who is billed, and what the athlete sees as the house they train in.

Getting the floor on

  1. Open the facility account and take the seats you need.
  2. Invite the coaches on staff.
  3. Move or invite the athletes — they download the app the same way a solo coach’s clients do.
  4. Set the branding the athlete should recognise.

Onboarding and migration of an existing client list are part of joining. You should not have to retype the roster.
